BlueClaw Group provides web reservation services through a reservation software called Charter RMS, which is a specialized software for the charter and tour industry. With years of real world experience, BlueClaw Group has built very comprehensive reservation software.
After building the first release of the product, the company has been looking to build a strong business relationship with a software services company to take over all the frequent software updates and system maintenance.
Challenges
- Lack of software documentation in taking over an existing codebase presented a challenge.
- With an active customer base and constant usage of the system, we had little time to figure out and learn everything related to the system so we can cover various required requests.

InspirationGate follows a comprehensive software process in taking over existing software solutions, the process starts by reviewing available system documentation, then reviewing the solution architecture and the code.
Due to the lack of technical documentation, we relied on a number of tracing and profiling tools to connect all the pieces together and have a firm understanding of the system.
We have been supporting and maintaining the system since 2007.
